Play Worker - Temporary Post Christ The King Catholic Primary School Grade 2 - £20,441 pro rata based on actual hours and weeks worked 10hrs per week - term time only (not including Teacher training days) Working Pattern - Monday to Friday – 3.15pm – 5.15pm (tbc) Required from January 2024 Christ the King Catholic Primary School is a friendly and welcoming school. We are based on two sites – Nursery, Foundation and Key Stage 1 on Westhill Road, and Key Stage 2 on Scots Lane. We are a two form entry school with capacity for 420 pupils and a 52 place nursery. We are seeking to appoint a Play Worker to join our established and successful team and support our vision for high quality Extended Schools Provision in our before and After School Care Club. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant who will have the responsibility for: Assisting the Play Leaders in the day to day running of the club ensuring high quality provision is in place Assisting with weekly planning to ensure consistency with school links offering a wide and varied range of activities Ensuring that the children are stimulated and engaged through activity in a safe and friendly environment We can offer you: A well-equipped school with excellent facilities. Full support in your role from the School’s Governing Body, senior leadership team and staff. Holding relevant NNEB, NVQ qualification would be an advantage to any applicant, but not essential.
