We have been learning all about Chinese New Year - The Year of the Horse. After reading the story of the Chinese Zodiac, The Great Race, we retold our favourite part of the story and also sequenced the animals in the order in which they won.  We created Chinese blossom paintings and dragon masks. Using our cutting skills, we created Chinese paper lanterns. At the end of the week, we tasted noodles, prawn crackers and sweet chilli sauce and we also took home a fortune cookie. What a fun week!
