We celebrated our History work on the first week in our new classes by delving into a topic! What a lot we learnt and explored in this special day.

Year 1 explored the life of Grace O'Malley, they took part in many fun activities and learnt what life was like as a pirate. Year 2 learnt about the events of 1666 whilst in Year 4  it was 1066 and the children held an election for the new king, learnt about the Battle of Stamford bridge, the Battle of Hastings and even drew their own Bayeux Tapestry! Year 3 were transported to ancient China and Year 5 set sail for a Titanic journey. Year 6 explored the changing role of women throughout history.
