Please share this book with your child. Encourage them to say the sound and use the action for each sound. Have a look at the pictures on each page, talk about the picture and what is happening. Have a look at the words and model how to sound them out.  p-a-n pan/ b-u-s bus. Can your child have a go at doing this themselves?

If they are not ready to do this, sound it out for them and see if they can guess the word that you are sounding out.
