On Advent Day, we prepared our classrooms for the liturgical season by changing our prayer areas to purple  and decorating our classrooms. We learnt that there are 4 Sundays in Lent and learnt the colours and the symbols of the Advent wreath. Using our handprints, we created our own Advent wreaths. We also made Christmas cards for our families and for members of the community too. We thought about what we can do to prepare and wait for the birth of baby Jesus.
